Charles R. Caldwell Jr, MD, FACC

Dr. Caldwell graduated from Hendrix College in 1987 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. He then proceeded to earn a medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 1991. Dr. Caldwell went on to complete his internship and residency at the Emory University Affiliated Hospitals in Atlanta, Georgia. He returned to Arkansas to complete his Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He has serviced the cardiac needs of central Arkansas for over 2 decades.
Dr. Caldwell is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, a member of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, the Society of Cardiovascular CT, and the Arkansas Medical Society. His clinical interests are Nuclear Cardiology, Cardiac and Peripheral Arterial CT, invasive diagnostic angiography with radial and femoral approach, echocardiography, clinical cardiology, and preventive cardiology.
He and his wife, Melissa, have 2 children. In his free time, he enjoys watching Razorback sports, golfing, and fly fishing.
