Randy Minton, MD, FACC

Randy Minton, MD, FACC"I chose cardiology because it offers the ability to alter the patient’s course of disease and life – both acutely and long term. It is very satisfying to prevent a heart attack with emergency catheterization."

Following an internship in internal medicine at UAMS, he did residency training at Georgetown University Hospital and fellowships in cardiology at the University of Texas and the Texas Heart Institute in Houston. Dr. Minton is board certified in internal medicine and cardiology and is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, American Medical Association, the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography, and the Arkansas Medical Society.
